About Laura
I've spent more than thirty years learning how the body carries what a life has been through — and what it takes for the body to finally put it down.
My clinical work began with certification in therapeutic massage, specializing in myofascial release and the patterns trauma leaves in the body. Three decades of hands-on practice taught me what no textbook leads with: the body doesn't forget what the mind learns to live around.
I know that from the inside. Midway through my career, I became a regional director of marketing for a Fortune 500 company — building record-breaking teams and earning company-wide leadership honors while my health quietly collapsed under the weight of it. It ended with a pituitary tumor. When I walked away, my symptoms resolved — my first hard lesson in what environments do to a nervous system.
The lesson deepened. A relationship that cost me my autonomy, my financial foundation, and very nearly my life became — years later, after long and difficult work — the origin of my specialization. Because in studying what I had survived, I recognized something larger: the pattern wasn't new. I had been born into it. My professional training gave me language for a system my own story had already written many times over. Physicians in two countries would eventually confirm what my body had been spelling out through every collapse and recovery — autoimmune disease, including the kidney damage it left behind, and beneath it all, a dysregulated HPA axis and autonomic nervous system dysfunction. A lifetime, recorded in the language of physiology.
The work that finally held is the work I now teach. Not vigilance — self-knowledge. I went into the corners I had over-achieved my way past, and I chose radical acceptance of everything I found. What you have faced and claimed in yourself can never again be used against you. Safety, I learned, can be installed in the nervous system itself — portable, internal, no longer dependent on circumstance.
Once I could read my own story, the purpose became clear: to help women take back what was stolen from them. No one should suffer alone, and no one should get stuck inside the suffering. My life had to become more than one cycle handing me to the next. It has — and now it is what I offer you.
I am a certified Somatic Trauma-Informed Coach (ICF-accredited) and a CPD-accredited Narcissistic Abuse Specialist, with training in Brainspotting (Phases 1 and 2) and HeartMath's HRV-based regulation training — alongside integrated advanced training in hypnotherapy, HNLP, breathwork, and trauma-informed positive psychology, applied to what your nervous system needs, never as fixed protocol.
You will not be asked to relive every detail of your story to be helped here. What feels important has its place — you take the lead. The body already knows what it carries. Learning to listen to it, and to trust it, is where the work begins.
